OK. Now I am trying to blog this from Flickr instaed of posting a photo directly from my blog. Maybe this will work. A real challenge, this is!

Uploading Photo from Flickr
Assignment Number Three was WAAAAY more challenging than last week's.
It has taken a lot of navigating and trial and error and I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT! I am Sooooooo proud of myself! (as I pat my back and smile, telling myslef "Good job, Cyn!!"). WOW that was a lot of work but the whole time I tried to remember Habit 3# 'this problem is a challenge" and I overcame it! Yeehaw!
Flickr is a very cool tool; I had never used it before. Who knew it's through Yahoo of all sites!? Some really beautiful photos on the site - real professional pics, I must say.
I uploaded this photo onto Fllickr and even figured out that I had to grant permission for Flickr to have access to my blog, but the problem was I was starting from the blog and not from Flickr, (which is what eventually worked). ...I tried about six times so persistance is KEY.
I have now read about mashups (who knew what that word meant until now?) and have learned that there are music mashups, video mashups and text mashups, to name a few. So then I visited Dummies Book Generator site, Custom Image Generator Site and Make Believe Comix. I had no idea thses site existed and am really impressed. I am learning so many new things!
I then found fototrix.com and added a little alient guy to my photo. I tried to play with changing the size of the image (mashup) but that got a little complicated. Whewph! Great amount of learning this week. I will continue to play around at these sites and will hopefully be able to use these tools to create some really need advertising and marketing materials!
